Our teaching approachIn our classes, we work with small groups (max. 10 dance couples) so we can give you our full attention.
We offer classes as a series of sessions so that in each class we can build upon the previous one and you learn quicker. Each series includes a few practice sessions so that you can practice, experiment and discover new combinations.
Especially for beginners, we focus on learning you what you need to enjoy a night's dancing at a milonga (tango dance evening).
For all levels, we guide you through a new move 'step-by-step' and explain how you can make new combinations. Most people – even if they have been dancing for years – find this enlightening. We also concentrate on style, posture, improvisation and on how to adapt your dancing to different musical styles.
Advanced dancers come to us to improve their sense of musicality and rhythm, to perfect their technique and to master the finer points of leading and following.
We teach the authentic tango style with close embrace as it was danced in the Salons of Buenos Aires in the 1940s – rare in the UK, unique in Scotland.
We specialise in Tango de Salon, Milonga and Tango Vals.
